UN CHIEN ANDALOU
We were proposed to create something for the exhibition devoted to surrealism in art. We desided to take it easy and just to make series of performances as interpretations to the most famous surrealistic movies. Un chien Andalou was one of them. It turned out to be a very fruitfull sourse for inspiration, we could dive into the realm of absurd images and actions without any explanation. No narrative, no structure need. We never tried to recreate what we saw in the movie, but rather improvised from the state and emotion it creates.
