CHANGE MACHINE
research and work-in-progress
In this performance I aim to blend a movement and a text in a meaning making or (nonsense production) device. Accompanied by rhythmic documentary sound (the performance unfolds through repetitive or evolving movement motifs, postures, and gestures. These elements fill the spaces between the blinking words and emerging sounds—acting as another layer of signification within a cross-media message.

LET’S CHEW ON ITThis is a work-in-progress that aims to bring together dance performance and a public talk.
I explore the alienation of my own voice while inviting audience members to respond to difficult, intimate  or absurd questions. Their answers become material: I deconstruct the meaning and language of their words, filtering them through and commenting with my body language.  In this process, intonation is disconnected from meaning, allowing speech to become physical, abstract, and estranged. The work examines how language performs, breaks down, and is re-embodied through movement.

SURFACE
The performance is a sort of eiree exploration of what SURFACE could mean, and what metaphors and connotations are related to this topic: inside-outside, hidden-exposed and such. It invites to reflect on how we perceive surface of human (female)body in comparison to a surface of an object How much sensation we acquire through surface, when dealing with taste, touch, gaze. How much private information could be revealed, exposed or concealed under the skin, or within a movement. Movement languages, based is inspired by butoh and somatic practices. Within this work, artist invites connects different mediums in multimedia metaphoric edit.

YELLOWVERSE
work-in-progress
A humorous  performance for a little duck and a big trash container.

The duck is foolling around occupied with little funny games such as collecting invisible trash in multiple yellow trashbags, swapping the yard with invisible mob  and soon becomes carried away by the games, and got totally immersed in imaginary universe.  The trash area transforms into  battle field, then into  the shipwrek into  the carchase, etc.  The ordinary site and the objects host heroic dramas and cathartyc experiences.

The action is supported by a sound, distrubuted through silent disco headphones it varies from highly dramatic masterpieces of classics to well known soundtracs to iconic movies.

By bringing together the pathetic, dramatic and the mundaine, I wish in a humorous way reflect on heroic and romantic narratives.
