I really do not feel any joy in interactive performances for adults. But this was something completely different. Finally a game I could play without feeling uncomfortable or embarrassed! Very unique experience of several adults “playing this game”, everybody found his/her own role to perform, everybody accepted his/her own rules, questioned own questions that are actual for him/her in these days, followed own story…
To watch how the head (fantasy) of adult creates its own space of performance was a real fun I only experienced in children interactive theater before. The uniqueness of every spectator was present and celebrated during all the time. I do not know how long “the game” took, I do not even know when it actually started and when exactly it was finished, and if it was a game or a real life (just exactly as it is in children’s experiencing the interactive theater)? But I was sure I could experience it much-much longer. Several more hours I would say.
On the other hand – it was still theatre. Full of metaphors, visual stimulus, mystery, things to think about… The way of performing / communicating of the performers with the spectators was very present and true. Unusually matured I would say.
If I would read this description before seeing the show I would never believed it J I work in the theater and I know this is not possible to achieve with theatre for adults! No way. I tried it several times in my life and it never worked.
Obviously – it is possible. I am jealous it was not me, who made it. I am proud on theater it is possible. I am more than happy I could experience it. I am so thankful to you – those who made it!
Thank you!
